Swedish techno-geeks Van Rivers & The Subliminal Kid just released a really nice remix of swedish soul queen Jenny Wilson. The duo have a lot of stuff happening at the moment. They both put out nice releases at the excellent Stockholm LTD aswell as beeing the producers of the hyped solo project from The Knife-frontwoman Karin Dreijer called Fever Ray.
We have been listening closely for a while and they have really developed a own sound in the last couple of releases.
When the Wilson-mix dropped out on SoundCloud we had to write a few lines. This is a really nice track. The voices get stucked in your head and it is perfectly slow, but still fast. The track get you in the right mood. We really like the fact that swedish artists from other genres turn to quality techno for mixes and not to the usual house maffia-people.
