Pretty fun stuff going on in this mix.
Over at mnmlssg they did a post with a few interesting dj sets a couple of days ago, the list includes sets by move d, scuba and seth troxler.
Luciano will soon release his new album on Candenza, as featured below it will include a film about his life on the road.
I found this player on Fairtilizer.com that features previews of all the tracks. He remains true to his ”original” sound as well as showing some great progress compared to the 12″s from the last few years. I think the tracks has a nice landscapy feel to them, really looking forward to both the film and the new tracks.

Found this live set from this years Sonar by Shed a few days ago.
It’s a great great mix that features both his major stuff as well as Wax-releases. Download and enjoy!
We are looking forward to see him at Full Pull:Kontra in Malmö on October 3rd. You should definitely come by if you are in the area.
The film “La Ruta Del Sol - Luciano’s Diary” is included as a DVD with Luciano’s forthcoming album “Tribute To The Sun” (Cadenza).
On the DVD, Swiss director Raphaela Sibilla documents Luciano’s last South American tour in a 52 minutes film. Sibilla followed Luciano for three weeks through Lima, Buenos Aires, São Paulo and of course Santiago de Chile, the city so crucial to Luciano’s musical origins.
Awesome! Another techno documentary!
Some estimate that there are as many as 10,000 abandoned structures at any given time, and that seems conservative. But for a few beautiful months during the summer, some of these houses become “feral” in every sense: they disappear behind ivy or the untended shrubs and trees planted generations ago to decorate their yards.
Found a post with some amazing photos of houses being reclaimed by nature in Detroit on a blog called Sweet juniper.
Spationauts recently posted a interview with Sebastian Herre, label manager of Produkt Schallplatten, where he talks about his electronic jam project and running a record label today. Interesting read!
Read the interview by clicking here and also check out Techno Ate My Brain. Thank You Mum! on Spationauts where Anastasia writes about the awesomeness of techno.
From Dj T.’s diary on Beatportal:
The Bar will be taken apart, shipped to the US and erected at next year’s Burning Man festival, for just one week of free-spirited abandon, then burned to the ground in a grand ceremony. All of this would be financed by Bar sympathiser and supporter Quentin Tarantino himself …

Recently while surfing on Soundcloud I came across Marcel Heese’s page. Marcel is resident dj at Berlin’s famous Tresor Club and his Soundcloud page holds a couple really nice recordings of him playing some proper techno.
For example I really like this:

The picture on the right is from Tresor’s flickr account.
Film by Romuald Karmakar on Chilean DJ and musician Ricardo Villalobos which will have it’s World Premiere at the 66th Venice International Film Festival, September 8th, 2009.
This movie could be pretty awesome, at least it looks like that from the photos!

Wax treatment - the party/communication edition of the record store launch their own podcast. The first mix comes from Dj Pete and features a lot of interesting tracks.
Check it out and subscribe here.
New track from the guy behind ”Cobra Limbos” - Daniel Steinberg. Check it out on Beatport, the b-side and remixes are ace as well.
